I was born and brought up in Norwood, went to  a boy's boarding school for high school, Hebron Academy, Hebron, ME and then to Tufts University. My degree is in Economics. I started in radio while at Tufts working at two Boston area radio stations on weekends as a disc jockey.
After graduating, I joined the family business in Norwood and expanded it until selling it in 1992.
My wife and I have been married for 47 years. We have two daughters and 5 grandchildren. One of them, Ari, hosts his own program on WDIS every Sunday. He has been calling  baseball play by play in Sharon on cable TV since he was 12. He is now 17. He also did play by play of Norfolk American Legion baseball on WDIS last summer.
I have a large model railroad and have travelled extensively in our 45 foot motorhome to the American Southwest. I have visited the Grand Canyon 27 times, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Yellowstone and Yosemite national parks as well as Lake Powell in Arizona and Utah along with Monument Valley Tribal Park on the Navajo reservation.
I now live in Norton and at 73 years of age am looking forward to the future.
